The Ethiopia Boku Natural Snap is a standout specialty coffee sourced from the Boku Abel station in the Hambela Wamena district, Oromia Region. This unique coffee is the result of the hard work of around 600 local farmers who cultivate the indigenous 74158 variety at an impressive altitude of 2350 meters. Grown in one of the most revered coffee regions of Ethiopia, this coffee benefits from ideal conditions that contribute to its exceptional quality.
What makes this coffee truly special is its natural process. After meticulous hand-picking, where only the perfectly ripe cherries are selected, the coffee undergoes dry fermentation on raised beds. The cherries are carefully turned throughout the day and covered during the hottest hours and at night to ensure optimal drying conditions, a process that takes between 7 to 10 days. After strict sorting, the coffee is milled and prepared for export, ensuring only the finest beans make it to your cup.
The result is a coffee that captures the essence of its terroir, with a sweet and fruity flavor profile, enhanced by the natural processing method and the high altitude at which it is grown. This is a truly remarkable coffee that embodies the rich heritage and meticulous craftsmanship of Ethiopian coffee production.
