The name Las Perlitas (“Little Pearls”) perfectly captures the essence of this project: a collective of smallholder farmers in the Huila region, growing coffee between 1,900 and 2,300 masl and combining their micro-lots into a single, exceptional lot.
Producers such as Deiro Gasca, Lizardo Imbachi, Erik Bravo, and Delfín Carvajal contribute their best harvests, each processed with remarkable precision.
This coffee follows a carefully executed washed process: ripe cherries are hand-picked, depulped within hours, and briefly fermented to loosen the mucilage.
They are then fully washed with clean mountain water and slow-dried on raised beds for 7–14 days, achieving optimal balance and clarity.
The result is a coffee that embodies the purity and precision of Huila’s highlands.
In the cup, Las Perlitas Pink Bourbon is bright and juicy, with vibrant acidity, balanced sweetness, and a clean, floral finish; a beautiful expression of this celebrated Colombian variety.
